Councils under St. Petersburg Government

Boards under the Government of St. Petersburg are coordinating bodies, composed of representatives of the executive branch, as well as representatives of enterprises and organizations in respective industry.

Transport Board under the Government of St. Petersburg was created by Resolution of the Government of St. Petersburg № 148 on February 13, 2006. The Boards is an advisory body under the Government of St. Petersburg, it was established to inform the Governor of St. Petersburg and the Government of St. Petersburg on the situation in the sphere of transport and logistics complex of St. Petersburg, for their interaction with representatives of transportation and logistics activities, for providing proposals and recommendations for the Governor of St. Petersburg and the Government of St. Petersburg on live issues of state policy in this sphere.

Marine Board under the Government of St. Petersburg was created by Resolution of the Government of Saint Petersburg № 1203 on June, 29 2004. Marine Board is a coordinating body under the Government of St. Petersburg to provide concerted actions by the federal executive bodies, executive bodies of the government of St. Petersburg, companies and organizations in the field of maritime activities.

Coordination council on development of transport system of St.-Petersburg and Leningrad region under the direction of the Minister of transport of the Russian Federation.

The coordinated development of a transport infrastructure of St.-Petersburg and Leningrad region, liquidating infrastructural restrictions in adjacent territories of the specified subjects of the Russian Federation, is the major factor of maintenance of forward social and economic development of Russia. The important mechanism in the decision of this points in question is the Coordination council on development of transport system of St.-Petersburg and Leningrad region, formed according to the governmental order of the Russian Federation from 4/4/2011 № 241.
